Linden Spinney is ½ mile east of Chagford, along the road to Great Weeke.

Going west from Exeter, leave the A30 at Whiddon Down following the signs for A382 towards Moretonhampstead and travel for 4 miles. At Easton Cross turn right following signs into Chagford, B3206. At the top of Chagford Square turn left along the High Street, which runs between the Churchyard and the Three Crowns Hotel. Take the left fork, then, after approx. 20 metres, turn left down a steep hill signposted Westcott, Great Weeke and Yellam. Linden Spinney is ½ mile from the top of the steep hill,  on the left hand side and down a drive edged with Lime trees.
